GENEVA, Switzerland – This summer the rest of Europe will be a step closer to Switzerland, thanks to an increase in the number of non-stop flights from Geneva.
Valencia (Spain) and Geneva are now connected non-stop twice weekly (Thursdays and Sundays), via Swiss Airlines.
Swiss already connects Geneva non-stop with Madrid, Málaga and Palma de Mallorca, all summer favorites.
Starting in June Swiss will also fly non-stop from Geneva to Dublin four times a week and to Algiers, three times per week. In addition, just in time for summer, Swiss has added Biarritz to its new non-stop destinations from Geneva.
Low cost airline, Wizz Air has announced it will begin non-stop flights between Geneva and Warsaw on 25 October.
Flights between Switzerland and Poland will take place twice weekly, (Wednesday and Sunday), starting at only CHF28 plus taxes.
Wizz Air will also bridge Geneva and Sofia (Bulgaria) every Monday and Friday starting 27 July.
VLM Airlines has also increased flights to Anvers (Belgium), to twice daily and one flight on Sundays. It is expected the same schedule will remain during summer.
Summer 2015 will also see Geneva connected to Bodrum, Izmir and Ankara via Turkish Airlines. Flights to Istanbul will increase to 25 per week during summer.
The Geneva Airport also announced changes to its daily shuttle to and from Grenoble, Crolles and Chambéry, France.
